WWI – Pro vs Con – Neutral or Fight

In my opinion the U.S. should have gone to war. I think that we should have gone to war because it was for a good cause. We were being threatened by Germany and they were the main aggressors in the war. There were many innocent people being murdered and forced to work in bad conditions by the government. There was religious and racial persecution going on in much of eastern europe and even some of western. Britain and France were being attacked and they needed help. We went to war to help support a good cause and to help save many poeple from being murdered. I agree that both sides were using deadly and extremely inhumane nerve gasses and that was wrong. But the German side was supporting an evil and wrong cause and that is why we went to war against them. If we had not gone to war then the Germans might have won and a Nazi Germany many years later may have been much more successfull which would be bad for every person in the world who is not blonde and blue eyed.
